I wonder what part it plays in the evolution of the species. I doubt Bonobos or Chimps share romance. Maybe I should ask Jane Goodall about that…

Even though I believe in evolution, I also think scientists have made some humongous mistakes with their theories about it. I do think Chimps have emotions similar to ours, just not developed as far. Although Nihar’s article talks about romance in terms of science, I think of romance as an expression of the emotion of love. I would think this would open all sorts of doors on the subject.

IF romance is an expression of love, can it be monitored scientifically? I think to some degree it can be. (Just thinking out loud.)
